Who will agree it’s the best sauce ever? I created it mainly for my banana blossom fish, but I decided to add the recipe for it separately as it definitely needs some extra attention. Maybe it is not the most authentic tartare sauce, but it is a great variation of it. It is yummy, has a see-y flavour hence perfect with vegan fish substitutes but can do well as a dip or on your sandwich!
Tips and insights:
- it is ok to use gherkins as an extra ingredient or instead of capers
- you can use red onion or shallot instead of spring onion
- I recommend not skipping lemon zest and seaweed
- recipe for mayo is here
Enjoy!

You will need:
- 45g wakame (soaked)
- 20g capers
- 5g dill
- 10g spring onions
- 130g mayo
- Lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
What to do?
- Finely chop wakame, capers and herbs, mix all the ingredients together.
Notes:
Dill is yummy, but ok, you can use parsley if it happens you have one of them in your fridge.
