Thick, cheesy, with a spicy kick this jalapeño cheese sauce can be a hit of your movie night, party or just used to cheesy up any meal of yours! Skip jalapeños if you don’t fancy spicy and enjoy the cream cheese, add it to pasta, pizza, or just on your breakfast toast. enjoy!
You will need:
- 100g cashews
- 20g sunflower seeds
soak them for at least 8 hours, or “quick soak them” by pouring boiling water over them and leaving to soak for a half an hour.
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 5 g smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 10g salt
- 100g mylk
- 1 tbsp evoo
- half of a small jalapeño
What to do?
- blend all the ingredients together till smooth
This sauce goes very well with nachos, veggie fritters or on pasta, yummy!
!PRO TIP!
remove smoked paprika and jalapeños and use the recipe as cheesy sauce base – use it plain or season it with your favourite herbs or spices!
